Emory recognizes that quitting tobacco use can be a significant personal challenge, and that tobacco-cessation programs are an integral component in implementing this policy.
A $50 per person monthly surcharge is added to medical contributions for faculty, staff and their covered spouses/same-sex domestic partners who use tobacco products.
To encourage tobacco cessation, Emory offers a variety of tobacco cessation programs free of charge to both University and Healthcare employees and their spouses/SSDPs. For a flier of these tobacco cessation programs, click here.
